MASTER PLAN AND PRELIMINARY ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN FOR AN ECOLODGE IN LAS NEGRITAS, AGUASCALIENTES, MEXICO

For the Aguascalientes State Secretariat of Tourism Arq. Ceballos-Lascuráin has developed the master plan and preliminary architectural design of an ecolodge in the Ejido Las Negritas, located in the Municipality of Asientos, State of Aguascalientes, México, comprising the following elements:: restaurant, kitchen, general office, reception/registration, access patio, ecotourism activities office, infirmary, sanitary facilities, 12 cabins (6 in Phase I – of 2 types), horse stable, control booth, parking area for 14 vehicles, interpretive natural trails, trail to cave paintings, grills and shelters. The lot has an area of approximately 11 hectares, located at a mean altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level, in a semidesertic ecosystem typical of central/northern Mexico.
